Welcome to ellaswim.com. This policy applies to all purchases made through our website worldwide. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

Nothing in this policy removes mandatory consumer rights that apply under local law.

1. Shipping, Courier & Delivery Costs

All shipping, courier, customs, tax, and delivery-related costs are the responsibility of the customer.

ellaswim.com does NOT:

Pay for courier fees
Pay for return shipping
Refund courier charges
Refund customs duties or import taxes
Pay delivery-related government fees
Take responsibility for additional customs clearance costs

Shipping upgrades (express or priority delivery) are strictly non-refundable.

Customers are responsible for ensuring their delivery information is correct.

2. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

For international orders:

Customers are fully responsible for all import duties, VAT, GST, local taxes, and customs fees.
ellaswim.com does not collect or reimburse foreign import charges unless explicitly stated.
Refused shipments due to unpaid customs charges will not qualify for shipping refunds.

ellaswim.com does not take legal or financial responsibility for taxes or delivery charges imposed by third parties or governments.

3. EU & UK Customers – Right of Withdrawal

For customers located in the 🇪🇺 European Union and 🇬🇧 United Kingdom:

You have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.

If you exercise this legal right:

We will refund the product price.
We will refund the cost of standard (basic) delivery only, as required by law.
We do NOT refund express or upgraded shipping services.
You are responsible for return shipping costs.

Hygiene Notice:
Swimwear that has had its hygiene seal removed may not be eligible for return under health protection regulations.

4. USA & Other Countries

For customers in the 🇺🇸 United States and countries outside the EU/UK:

Refunds apply only to eligible returned products.
Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable.
Return shipping is paid by the customer.
Customs and tax charges are non-refundable.

ellaswim.com is not obligated to refund shipping or courier costs unless required by applicable law.

5. Courier Responsibility & Delivery Disclaimer

Once an order is handed to the courier:

ellaswim.com is not responsible for:

Courier delays
Lost or stolen packages
Delivery failures
Customs holds
Incorrect address provided by the customer
Additional courier-imposed charges

Delivery issues do not automatically entitle customers to shipping reimbursement.

6. Return Conditions (All Countries)

Due to hygiene standards for children's swimwear and beachwear, returns are accepted only if:

Requested within 14 days of delivery
Item is unused, unworn, and unwashed
Hygiene liner remains intact
All tags are attached
Original packaging is included

Return shipping costs are always paid by the customer.

Returns must be approved before shipping back.

7. Refund Processing

If a return is approved:

Refund applies to eligible product value only.
Shipping, courier, customs, and delivery charges are not refunded except where required by EU/UK law.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after inspection.
